A new infographic looks at the 20 richest people in the world to predict how long it'll take for them to hit the trillion-dollar mark.

What do the world’s richest business leaders have in common? They’re all billionaires for one thing. But for how long? A new infographic looks at the 20 richest people in the world, from Facebook mastermind, Mark Zuckerberg, to Hong Kong’s investor extraordinaire, Li Ka-Shing, to predict how long it’ll take for them to hit the trillion-dollar mark.

The study by Clarendon estimated which of the current richest 20 people in the world might become trillionaires by looking at how much their net worth increased in recent years.

The trillionaire’s list also features unlikely trillionaires; those who won’t hit that milestone in their lifetimes. This includes Spanish fashion retailer Zara’s boss, Amancio Ortega, Mexican telecoms mogul, Carlos Slim, French cosmetics legend, L’Oreal’s Lilianne Betencourt, The Waltons, Wal-Mart’s three founders, Chinese real estate tycoon, Wang Jianlin, American casion hot-shot Sheldon Adelson.

The more plausible billionaires on the fast-track to trillionaire territory, in addition to Zuckerberg, are Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, and Twitter founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, who are all predicted to hit that milestone while still considerably young.

Stock market legend Warren Buffet, the Koch brothers, Michael Bloomberg, Bill Gates, French investor Bernard Arnaut, and software entrepreneur Larry Ellison will between 79 and 98 years old when they make their trillions.

Looking at the sectors and businesses represented in this list, tech tycoons are in the lead, followed by investors with diversified portfolios, real estate giants, and finally retail and telecoms professionals.
