Cambridge-headquartered OpenCloud also announced an additional £1 million pledge from its existing investors Advent Venture Partners and No 8 Ventures.

The company has been working with NSN for the past two years, winning 13 joint customers in that time. As part of the deal with NSN, an agreement has been secured to integrate OpenCloud’s offering into NSN’s “charge@once” product suite.

The money will be used by OpenCloud to further its global expansion and develop further products.

CEO Jeff Gordon calls the investment from NSN ‘a strong endorsement’ of the company’s products and strategy.
