ControlCircle raises £6 million

A company which manages data centres and internet connections for websites including KPMG and Rightmove has raised £6 million in growth capital.

London-based ControlCircle secured the funding from venture capital (VC) firm Scottish Equity Partners to fund ‘aggressive organic growth’ and expansion into new territories. The company, which has annual sales of £10 million, already has operations in Europe and the US.

Scottish Equity Partners is the first VC investor in ControlCircle, which until now has been funded by its founders, Damian Milkins and Simon Hancock.

Target areas for expansion include Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Silicon Valley and Singapore.
