Tracerco, a Billingham-based provider of process diagnostics, has acquired Belgium-based Process Vision Services, a specialist in identifying problems in the petroleum and chemical industries.

Tracerco, a Billingham-based provider of process diagnostics, has acquired Belgium-based Process Vision Services, a specialist in identifying problems within the petroleum and chemical industries. The terms of the deal have not been revealed.

The acquisition will strengthen Tracerco’s process diagnostics offering and enable it to promote its range of specialist measurement instrumentation and monitors throughout Europe and North Africa.

Tracero, part of Johnson Matthey Plc, has a range of products and services that enable the oil and gas and petrochemical industries to increase production rates, lower production costs and increase environmental compliance. PVS specialises in identifying problems within the same industries.

The new combined company will trade as Tracerco.
