Chesnara buys Moderna Försäkringar 

Preston-based life assurance company Chesnara Plc has announced its acquisition of Swedish rival Moderna Försäkringar Liv AB from Moderna Finance AB, for SEK250 million (£20.1 million) in cash.

  • Mineral sands producer Kenmare Resources has turned a £6.4 million loss into annual pre-tax profits of £230,000.
  • Cambridge-based Domino Printing Sciences Plc has acquired Portugal-based rival Labeljet SA and its subsidiary Marque TDI for up to €7 million (£6.2 million).
