OchreSoft receives £600,000 OchreSoft Technologies, a developer of conveyancing workflow software for law firms, has received £600,000 from its existing investors. The names of the funders have not been disclosed but the consortium included private equity provider and venture capitalist YFM Group. YFM, managed by the South West Ventures Fund, made its first investment in OchreSoft in September 2005 when it provided £250,000 to develop its business. A spokesperson for the group declined to say how much it invested in this latest round but confirmed it has increased its shareholding in the company. The funds will be used to support OchreSoft’s growth and to develop its main product, Intelliworks, an online workflow system that was launched last year. Intelliworks can be used for sale and purchases as well as re-mortgaging but OchreSoft is developing the system to also be used for wills, probate, accounts and family law. Swindon-based OchreSoft was established in 2003 by law firm BPE Solicitors. Its other products include the Virtual Firm, which links estate agents, lawyers, HM Revenue and Customs, the Land Registry and clients to provide conveyancing services.
