US company Agere Systems has acquired electronic circuits company Ireland-based Massana for $26.2 million, while brand management firm Charteredbrands has undergone a management buy-out.

Brand management company Charteredbrands has been bought in a buy-in management buy-out led by marketing specialist Philip Craig, and has been renamed Three Sixty Brands (Source: The Drum)

Associated Dental Practices has bought rival dental services company MediMatch (Source: Scarborough Evening News)

Nasmyth Group has purchased JS Chinn Holdings out of administration in order to bolster its design and manufacturing services to the aerospace, automotive and medical sectors. Lloyds TSB backed the £20 million deal (Source: Wragge & Co)

Salamander Energy Plc, an oil and gas exploration and production company focused on Asia, has acquired interests in certain Indonesian assets from Serica Energy Plc for $52.75 million (£26.7 million)
