Alpha Tiger raises £75 million

Article Date:  Jan 01 2007

Alpha Tiger Property Trust, a Guernsey-registered, closed-ended investment company, has raised £75 million through an IPO on AIM.

The company, which issued 75 million ordinary shares at 100p each, will use the proceeds to invest in India’s real estate market.

Alpha Tiger’s investments will be managed by Alpha Real Capital LLP, an FSA regulated property fund manager with a team in India.

Fund manager Brad Bauman said: “The investment manager has extensive experience of working with multinational occupiers and will work closely in partnership with tenants to provide flexible real estate solutions.”

The company’s joint financial advisers were Kinmont and Panmure Gordon with Panmure Gordon and Execution as its brokers.
