PamGene

Article Date:  Mar 03 2009

Together with scientific partners, its Scientific Advisory Board and commercial partners such as Johnson & Johnson and Merck & Co, PamGene has developed an outstanding platform for high-throughput micro-array-based multi-parameter testing. The current focal point is the discovery and patenting of oncology biomarkers through the unique Matching Medicines platform. PamGene’s Matching Medicines approach ultimately aims to provide medical oncologists with valuable additional data to create the best plan for a particular patient. This helps guide the selection of likely responders and prevents non-responders having to needlessly undergo treatment with a specific drug, thereby avoiding unnecessary side effects as well as lost time.
