Vizuri says ‘oui’ to Sogeti deal
Article Date: Oct 14 2008A French provider of IT and test services has extended its operations in the UK following the acquisition of a consultancy in London.
Sogeti UK, part of the Capgemini Group, has added testing specialist Vizuri to its stable after agreeing undisclosed terms with its shareholders.
The deal is part of the group’s strategy of expanding its expertise through acquisitions. This is not the first UK addition it has made to its interests as the company took over Insight Test Services in April.
Sogeti UK managing director Richard Terry said the Vizuri acquisition provides the group with a broader range of services. “The combined organisation gives us the critical mass to accelerate the growth of the business.”
Chairman Luc-François Salvador added that Vizuri was targeted as the UK is a major market for the group.
Sogeti UK provides software testing and infrastructure services to corporate and public-sector clients.
Vizuri has 90 staff offering IT risk management, testing, security and training services. It supports government, new media, gaming, utilities, financial services and insurance companies.
