FTSE Environmental Index launched

An index has been launched to track the performance of 450 green companies worldwide. Cleantech fund nets £5 million

Savills cuts losses on wind farm

LCA exits Heliodynamics

Low Carbon Accelerator (LCA), an AIM-listed investor in low-carbon technologies, has disposed of its entire shareholding in solar power specialist Heliodynamics. ORECon, the Devon-based developer of a device to harness energy from waves, has received $24 million (£12.1 million) from a syndicate of European and US venture capital houses.
