New University spin-out from Norwood

IP2IPO, the intellectual property commercialisation company fronted by chief executive David Norwood, is seeking to float GETECH, its latest university technology spin-out with origins within the University of Leeds.

GrowthBusiness gathers that GETECH is an oil services business, adept at compiling and analysing gravity and magnetic data, and will join AIM by way of a placing. IP2IPO currently holds 21 per cent.

Earlier this year, Norwood and his team successfully floated drug discovery venture Proximagen on AIM.
