3G Communications and Sauce Consultancy to merge

Sauce Consultancy and 3G Communications are merging with an eye towards relaunching the combined business in the summer of 2013.

3G Communications and Sauce Consultancy, both communications and consultation firms in the infrastructure and planning sector, are coming together to form a company with a combined client list including National Grid, Balfour Beatty and Crossrail.
When combined the new entity will provide public consultation, community and stakeholder engagement, media relations and corporate communications.
For the first year of trading the merged businesses will trade as 3G. However, the consultancy plans to relaunch in 2013 under new branding.
At present 3G's focus is on large development projects and stakeholder engagement, whilst Sauce is more aimed at recycling, waste management and local planning.
Claire Gordon, founder and managing director of 3G, says that the merger represents an 'exciting meeting of minds'.
She adds, 'Sauce will supplement this expertise with their creative energy and engaging approach to community involvement.’
The new company's head office is in London, with regional offices in Bristol, Ipswich and Cumbria.
