Greystone in
£3m buy
Done deals:
- Marketing and communications firm WPP Group Plc has acquired, through its US subsidiary Ogilvy, a majority stake in Advertures, a Czech Republic online marketing agency
- A company funded by Downing Protected VCTs has bought health and fitness centre Thames Club for £3.8 million
- Vehicle remarketing company BCA has purchased vehicle distribution company UFD for £2.8 million in cash
- Sheppee International, an equipment supplier to the glass works industry, has been acquired by its management for an undisclosed, seven-figure sum
- ValiRx Plc, a cancer therapeutics and diagnostics company, has bought the final 39.7 per cent of Cronos Therapeutics for £374,000, in order to bolster its services
- India’s Ruia Group has acquired rival auto component manufacturer Schlegel Automotive Europe, which has assets of some £15.1 million
- Wealth management group Greystone Financial Services has bought its competitor Roger Harris & Co for a reported £3 million
