acquires Happit
Done deals:
- Ellie Louise has increased its clothing retail business after buying Happit out of administration
- Oil refiner Hydrodec Group Plc has bought Australian company Virotec International Plc, a wastewater and soil treatment services firm to the industrial and mining sector
- Cosalt Plc, a protection services firm to the marine and offshore oil and gas industries has acquired Norwegian firm Myhre-Maritime in order to bolster its services
- Public relations and marketing company Partners Group has been purchased by its management
- Frontage Laboratories, a provider of bioanalytical, pre-clinical and drug development services, has acquired Advanced Biomedical Research, expanding its offering
Deals in the pipeline:
- Dublin-based mining company West African Diamonds Plc has received an approach that may lead to a takeover
- Telecoms giant BT Plc has agreed to acquire German companies Stemmer and SND, constituting the enterprise IT services segment of net AG, in a bid to expand it's networked IT services in the region
- In House Group Plc, a property broking and management company, is set to purchase Avanti Properties for £880,000
- Furniture company Ilva has gone into administration
