It is important for a business to pick out a logo and representative colours early on. Why? Because it’s how it will get recognised not just by the public but by other businesses as well. In the early stages of developing a company identity, the logo will do a lot of the speaking for you once the foundation has been laid. You can often see the biggest brands from any domain using nothing but a small graphical element to market huge campaigns, the small element being their logo.

Friendly layout

It is very important to have a friendly layout on all of your public oriented material. From simple flyers and cards to the very important website. It’s not enough to have a website that holds the company information and gives access to its services. It has to draw users in with its friendly interface and layout. This is another area where design is crucial. No matter how useful a website of any type might be, it won’t be accessed a lot of it has a design that is hard to use or confusing.

Product specific design

When developing a product of any type, be it physical or digital, the design is like the packages in which it comes. If it’s not a nice looking package it won’t appeal to customers. Design also sets trends and manufacturers look to follow these trends to sway customers. For example, if you’re manufacturing  a new laptop, you would need to pay attention to the trending designs such as having an extra row of utility buttons on the side of the laptop.
