Ingenious backs new rock concert

Article Date:  Mar 12 2007

Media investment company Ingenious has come up with the goods again as its Live VCTs have invested in their first music festival, the Knowsley Hall Music Festival.

This new rock festival should see 80,000 punters congregate in the grounds of the Earl of Derby’s ancestral home, Knowsley Hall, near Liverpool to watch and listen to such acts as The Who, The View and The Zutons.

The deal is in conjunction with legendary Liverpool nightclub promoters Cream and concert and festival promoters Loud Sound Events.

‘Knowsley Hall Music Festival, with its exciting line up, will be a phenomenal addition to the festival circuit,’ reckons Ingenious’s commercial director Duncan Reid. ‘This investment illustrates the current high demand in the UK for live events and the increasing demand from promoters and event organisers to enter discussions with Ingenious.’
