Sharples joins Enterprise Ventures
Article Date: Jul 04 2007Enterprise Ventures, the Northern-based venture capital management company, has appointed David Sharples as investment manager to the team.
Sharples, a chartered accountant, joins Enterprise Ventures to work with the Lancashire Rosebud Fund investment team, providing loan and equity funding to Lancashire-based SMEs and managing a portfolio of existing investments.
Formerly, Sharples was director of finance at Guide Dogs for the Blind and head of finance at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He has held a number of consultancy appointments assisting MBO teams and venture capital companies, and had been a business mentor for The Prince’s Trust.
