A Scottish packaging specialist has continued its plan to develop its distribution activities with the acquisition of a company in Hayes. Redhall engineers Chieftain move 

Engineering group Redhall is to enhance its oil and gas operations after agreeing to buy industrial support specialist Chieftain.The AIM-listed group’s 209.2p per share cash offer, which values the business at some £18.6 million, has been accepted by Chieftain’s board and awaits shareholder approval.  Tuesday, 30th September 2008

Freshfayre acquired by turnaround specialist

Turnaround firm RCapital has acquired a majority stake in nationwide chilled food supplier Freshfayre for an undisclosed sum. Freshfayre’s MD Gary Bell, whose family owned the company for 25 years, remains in his role.  Monday, 29th September 2008
