Overview:

The M&A Awards is a lavish event on the corporate finance calendar, recognising the achievements of management teams, advisers and financiers who have been involved in deals during the past 12 months.

The ceremony will be held at The Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London on Wednesday 18 February 2009, with more than 500 CEOs, MDs, FDs, advisers, venture capitalists and other financiers attending. With so many senior players in the industry turning up for the evening, the awards are a 'must-attend' occasion – and an invaluable networking opportunity.

Over the years, M&A Magazine has set the standard for comprehensive reporting on deal-making and related corporate governance issues. Before its launch in 2001, companies and advisers had a tough time trying to publicise the complex work involved during corporate transactions. Likewise, it was almost impossible for company executives to gain genuine insight into what was involved in deal-making.

M&A Magazine changed that. The publication is now a popular read among the high flyers in the corporate finance community and executives of firms with strategic acquisitions on the agenda. With its reputation for journalistic quality, many consider it a 'must read' for the industry.

The M&A Awards offer an ideal opportunity for acquisitive companies, their advisers and financiers to receive the recognition they deserve in the marketplace.
