CardScan does what it says on the tin

Every mover and shaker knows that you don’t make a business a success by just sitting behind your desk thinking about strategy.

You have to get out there.

Meet and greet.

Be the social animal.

So if you consider yourself a serial collector of business cards, you’ll be pleased to hear that CardScan is here.

Retailing at just under £200, the makers of this nifty device claim it’s ‘a complete contact management system’. It scans cards and contact details from websites, emails and other electronic files, bringing the information into one source. Moreover, it eliminates duplicate records.

Rather than flicking through card after card, you can categorise contacts and search, sort and create custom lists. The data remains consistent across all devices and software – such as smartphones, PDAs and email.

The makers also boldly claim that the scanner is ‘the perfect stocking filler for hard-working businessmen and women’.
