About this event
The New Energy Awards, in association with Rosenblatt Solicitors, are a lavish event in the renewable energy sector. The awards recognise the achievements of management teams, companies and projects that have made a significant contribution to this sector during the past 12 months.
With its cathedral-like structure, frescoes and sculptures, the Natural History Museum's Central Hall forms a fantastic backdrop to some of the highlights of the museum's collection, including a Diplodocus skeleton and a 1,300-year-old giant sequoia. Travel through millennia of evolution and see the wonders of the museum collection by exploring the bays in this unique building.
This beautiful building was designed by Alfred Waterhouse, a young architect from Manchester who won the contract after the original architect died. The world-famous Waterhouse Building is a London landmark and a work of art.
When you arrive, pause to take in the huge façade and high, spired towers. The rounded arches and grand entrance were inspired by basalt columns at Fingal's Cave off the coast of western Scotland. It is one of Britain’s most striking examples of Romanesque architecture.
